There are two approaches to the 6 Week Body meal plan:
1. Fast Track Menu (FTM)
The fast track menu gives you the option to follow a rigorous meal plan to create a body "overhaul". The cards come with the diet makeover package and set out the meals for you. There's no worrying what type of meals you should eat or what is healthy for you. Also, there's no counting calories or points. Your job is to follow the meals on the fact track menu cards and make sure to eat everything meal. The good thing about these cards is that you have four options. If you have plenty of time during the day, you can try the "gourmet" category. People who are always on the go can try the "easy" category for meals. Of course the gourmet category for the FTM taste better, but some people do not have the luxury to plan out and prepare fancy breakfast foods. An example of the Fast Track Menu Card meals for an Ecto-Endo Female (using the easy category) is:
Easy Breakfast: 2-3 Egg Whites, ½ cup of whole wheat oatmeal & ½ cup of low sugar fruit.
This meal can be easily prepared and here's how to prepare a meal if you're in a hurry. To get your egg whites in the morning, try boiling a dozen eggs and peeling them. Throw away the egg yolk and keep the whites. Prepare oatmeal the night before and keep it in a plastic container. Another option is to have hot water dispenser and use instant oatmeal, however, make sure to get the low sugar/low sodium oatmeal. Fruit can be a chore to cut-up but if you cut up a lot of fruit at the beginning of the week and store it in a large container, then breakfast can be a snap.
2. Infinite Menu Planner (IMP)
If you are picky eater, there is still hope for you to lose weight with this program. The IMP is a great way to choose the foods that you want to eat and still lose weight. Remember that each plan is customized according to your body type. The IMP is a booklet that comes with the Michael Thurmond makeover and allows you to select foods from various food groups according to your customized plan. For example as an Ecto-Endo female, you could eat 2-3oz protein A, ½ cup carb A and ½ cup fruit A for breakfast.
This meal plan is just an alternative to your health shakes and diet supplements that may or maybe not be beneficial to your weight loss goals.
